However, to take full advantage of this innovative system, precision machining by IAG is required. The \"Fire-Lock\" system relies on a precisely machined recess at the top of each cylinder to hold the Fire-Lock ring. With the ring locked in place, it stands proud above the deck, providing a superior seal. IAG fire rings are manufactured to a very strict tolerance from a proprietary alloy and are then put through a heat treatment process. Fire-Lock Gaskets require IAG ARP 14mm Head Studs (not included) for proper installation.
