The Toyota Tacoma has been the best selling small pickup truck for almost 20 years. A lot of the success of the Tacoma was built on the reliability and durability of the 1st generation model sold between 1995 and 2004. The 1st Gen Tacoma is rock solid with many running around with over 200k miles. Because of their reliability and relative affordability, they are quite popular in the off-road and overland community. With any vehicle this old, there is always room for improvement. While the engines will basically run forever, there are plenty of supporting systems that can use some shoring up. The OEM cooling system is fairly robust and can keep up with most daily driven Tacomas. However, this changes a bit once you start throwing bigger tires on and pushing the truck to its limits. That's why CSF developed the new Heavy-Duty All-Aluminum Radiator for the 95-04 Toyota Tacoma with Automatic Transmissions.
Fitment
The CSF #7212 Cooling product is designed to be a "Drop-In Fit" application. The product will install in the OEM Location with no modifications necessary unless otherwise noted or instructions are included in the product package. Please see the manufacturer repair manual for standard installation instructions. If you do not feel confident installing this product CSF recommends taking it to a qualified installation facility.
