Originally developed to seal and protect exhaust wraps, this versatile spray also gives new life to BBQ grills, fire pits, smokers, outdoor stoves, engine parts, and more. Use it to refresh faded exhaust wraps and add a protective layer that locks in fibers, reduces fraying, and extends product life under the harshest conditions. It’s the perfect companion to any Design Engineering Inc (DEI) wrap installation. Beyond the garage, this high-temp coating works wonders on metal surfaces exposed to high heat — giving BBQ grills, fire pits, smokers, and outdoor equipment a like-new finish that resists rust, grime, and weathering. It withstands temperatures up to 1200°F and is VOC compliant in all 50 states for safe, worry-free use anywhere. NOTE: HT Silicone Coating is sold in a compressed aerosol container. Regulations restrict the air transport of flammable products (aerosols). Fitment
Universal Titanium Application Instructions While not required for Titanium exhaust wrap, HT Silicone Coating will protect and prolong the life of the wrap. Due to the difference in material from glass fiber, HT Silicone Coating soaks into Titanium exhaust wrap's basalt fiber differently and needs a few coats and heat cycles for it to adhere properly. DEI recommends a minimum of three coats, each heat cycled for curing before applying the next coat. To cure, HT Silicone Coating needs to reach a temperature of 400°F for approximately 2 hours. Allow to cool before applying the next coat.
