The 2 series is the nearest embodiment of legacy BMW ideals in today's lineup. As such, in both the non-M and M trims, the series is continuously lusted after by the enthusiast community. While the G87 M2 may get the lion's share of publicity, the G42 M240i is equally as enticing and offers a robust value proposition for individuals looking to balance performance with comfort. Equipped with the latest B58 engine also found in the M340i and M440i, the M240i has performance covered in spades. Beyond the vaunted engine, the platform also borrows numerous other components from its 3 and 4 series counterparts.
