This rugged skid plate offers greater protection by adding a cushion of space between the skid and the tank. The IAG Rock Shield® Fuel Tank Skid Plate is also thicker and stronger than the factory version, safeguarding your tank from damage or dangerous leaks caused by impacts from rocks, branches or rough terrain. The IAG Rock Shield® Fuel Tank Skid Plate is made from strong 3/16” steel and coated in durable black powder for protection against scratches, rust, and wear. The provided fasteners were designed to sit beneath the skid plate's surface, enabling smooth gliding over obstacles without harming the vehicle, skid plate, or the hardware. The IAG Rock Shield® Fuel Tank Skid Plate can be used as a stand-alone item or in addition to other IAG Rock Shield® Skid Plates for maximum coverage. IAG’s Rock Shield® components were designed to fit tightly together with smooth transitions from one plate to the next in order to keep your Bronco from getting hung up on obstacles, providing as much protection as possible to your undercarriage.
